- “White Flag” - Bishop Briggs
Our girl Bishop Briggs released an anthem that describes what she says to be, “pushing till there is sweat stinging your eyes, blood under your nails, and never giving up, no matter what the circumstances are,” (ABC Music News). A fiery, impassioned message with Briggs’s forceful voice to back it up.
- “Winning Streak” – Shaboozey
A come up story turned into an absolute jam. Right off the bat you hear, “this is how it feels to have a winning streak baby.” Shaboozey has a genre-bending sound that’s made up of R&B, hip-hop and alternative rock. The track is paired with a desert-themed video with a 70’s vibe that showcases his winning streak.
- “THROWYOASSOUT” - DUCKWRTH
He’s one of our new favorite men that also has some smooth moves. This is the best track to groove to off of his XTRA UUGLY Mixtape, it’s a feel-good bop. His sound is a mix of rock, hip-hop, funk, and soul with live elements of guitars and violins. Safe to say everything DUCKWRTH touches becomes art.
- “Purple Hearts” - Jeremy Messersmith
He’s is a thoughtful, clever lyricist who makes songs that are catchy and relatable. He describes the song as, “two people on opposite sides of a cultural divide, who are experiencing the loneliness and disconnection of modern society in the form of the worst first date of all time.” And he paints the picture in a pop tune that sounds irresistible.
- “In My Blood” - Shawn Mendes
We all love Shawn Mendes and this track just confirms that. It’s power ballad that talks mental health. It’s honest and open song that will have you in the feels.
- “Alone” - Halsey Ft. Big Sean & Stefflon Don
Halsey drops a remix of the hidden gem off of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. It’s a somber yet upbeat bop and Big Sean makes an appearance with a vibey rapped verse. We suggest blasting the song and taking a drive with the windows down for optimal listening experience.
- “Sinners” - Barns Courtney
This may be his best work yet. The track has bluesy acoustic verses and a chorus to shout along to. The man has a sheer sex appeal in his song. Big Barns fans over here, huge.
- “Pink Lemonade” - James Bay
James Bay is officially our favorite pop rock artist. “Pink Lemonade” is something you’ll want on your playlists for the summer. We’re loving the new vibes he’s serving since his debut with Chaos and the Calm.
- “Figures, a Reprise” – Jessie Reyez & Daniel CaesarFigures was already our favorite breakout ballad from Jessie but she teamed up with Daniel Caesar to debut “Figures, A Reprise” at this year’s JUNO Awards. Between their crazy talent and the lyrics, you’ll get the feels.
- “Moment” - Mikky Ekko
Since Mikky Ekko came to visit all of the reps at our UMUSIC Experience meeting in NYC, we’ve been obsessed! This song is no acceptation; his vocals are swoon worthy just to warn you. Highsnobity debuted the video to accompany the song, it was directed by SZA and Vince Staples’ collaborator, Jakub Blank.
“Shake Something” - Louis The Child ft. Joey Purp
The Windy City duo is back with a hip-shakin’ track that absolutely slaps. You can listen to it during a workout, a pregame, at the club – wherever it’s playing it kind of begs to be on repeat.
